Christmas 2011

This Christmas has been pretty special for me and most of you know why.

First, I got engaged. (as you all already know)
I don't really want to go into enormous detail on here right now, so maybe I'll do a post later about that!
(READ BELOW FOR THE PROPOSAL STORY)
Basically, Andy is perfect, and he asked me in the most perfect way, to marry him (perfect to me).

Next, Christmas Eve
We did the usual thing where we eat dinner at my parents and then head over to the Christ Evangelical Church Candlelight Sing-a-long. It's a great way to bring Christ into the Christmas season.
This year between dinner and the Sing-a-long, we ran over to Andy's parents to open gifts. I wasn't expecting any gifts but a few of the McDonald's gave me stuff. It was really nice! Andy's parents gave both of us front row tickets to see Aladdin at Tucahn in St. George  in June. We cannot wait for that!
After the Sing-a-long, we came back to my parents to open the Christmas Eve gift which is always a game. This year my parents gave us, "Name 5" and "The Logo's Game", both of them were way fun and we played them for a while.

Christmas:
That morning, Andy came back over and we ate breakfast, then went into the living room to open presents. It was fun having Parker there for his first Christmas. We watched everyone open presents as well as open a few. My parents gave us all last year tickets to Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, so this year we opened our presents from them to see that they gave us tickets to Aladdin at Tucahn, so now we get to go twice! It was a pretty crazy coincidence. We might go and see Hairspray down there the same time that the rest of the family goes to Aladdin, but we'll see!

New Year's Eve:
This year for NYE we decided to head over to the Creps to play games and just have a low key night. It was way fun! They had gotten the Logo's Game too, so we played that and then waited for the countdown! We had martinelli's, and a few small fireworks and one big firework! It was way fun and Anna stayed up the whole time with us so it was fun to watch her get excited about the fireworks!

I think that's about it for the festivities! Sorry it took me so long to post!
