Bueller?...Bueller?...

Sadly...I gave up on the 30 day Blog Challenge.
Sadly...I've been absent 1 1/2 days and everyone is wondering if I'm okay.
I'm totally fine guys/girls!
I just forgot about blogging because I've been too busy working late and on my day off.
I have a lot on my mind right now
and
blogging about it might not be the best!
So now that I am calmed down.
I will blog...

Imma Back!

Here are some random pictures of Mine and Heather's adventures.
Mind you.
We've hardly gotten out of the apartment.
They aren't that exciting of adventures.
But here they are...

Allred Concert on 1/21/11

Wondered around Riverwoods

Scavenger Hunt in Blickenstaff's

Fire Pictures at Riverwoods

We have also, (no pictures)
gone to the Wilkinson Center to watch the BYU SDSU game with my cousin Ben and his friends.
walked through the Provo Beach Resort at Riverwoods.
eaten Sushi and didn't get sick!
visited Alpine Village where my lovely cousin Emily lives.
watched a lot of Desperate Housewives.
watched Lord of the Rings I & II.
eaten lots of crap food.
not gone to the gym.

No it's time for me to go to my parents house to clean....
because....
Elder Morgan comes home in 5 days!!!

ps. I might be absent again for a day or so.
I am fine though! No need to worry

I think the fact that it's weird for people that I haven't blogged in a day and a half means that I blog too much!
Time to cut back on the addiction ;)

Oh and I'd like to note that,
YAY both my brother/sister in laws have updated their blogs!!! It's about time!!! (:
Love you guys!

Love

I know this post is a little early.
But for some reason, I can't stop thinking about
Valentines Day
Single-Awareness Day
Whatever you want to call it.

I don't really know why, but for some reason
I'm excited for it.
I have zero reasons to be excited.
I don't have a boyfriend
or
anyone to spend the day with for that matter.
I don't even like this dreadful holiday.
I asked Heather if she'd be my Valentine
She said yes!
But still...that's not enough reason to be excited for
one of the crappiest holidays of them all.
Yet, I am excited.

I go to the store and see all the
yummy candies
pink sprinkles
cinnimon candy
hearts
roses
etc.
I just want to buy them all.

I'm not even expecting to recieve one of these.
I know I'm not getting anything from anyone.
I'm still excited though.

I can't wait to decorate my room with HeArTs and lOvE!

What has gotten into me?!

Tickle me Pink

Day 7: Whatever Tickles Your Fancy...again.
(This isn't the real thing today, but i don't want to Write A Letter To Someone You Haven't Talked to in a Long Time. I already have to do that for my missionaries...feel free to do it for yourself if you'd like)

Something that's on my mind?

Let's be honest.
Why is this NOT on your mind?!
Lately, I have been craving french fries.
Lately, I have not had money to buy said fries.
I shouldn't have them anyway..
but I could even go for a nice Junior Bacon Cheeseburger.
I crave fast food.
It's not a good thing especially since I've been going to the gym to
lose weight/get in shape.
I drive past Wendy's every day on my way to work.
Wendy and her flaming red, perfect pig-tail braids.
She's so tempting to visit.
I will restrain myself....

at least until lunch time!

Let's Party!

Day 6: Whatever tickles your fancy

Spring is nature's way of saying, "Let's party!"  ~Robin Williams

Is it Spring yet?!
Seriously...
Spring could not be here any sooner.

I'm excited.
March 16-20.
I'm celebrating my birthday.
In Saint George.

I'll over-pack my bags,
(^probably not this cute^)
like I always do,
because sercretly I wish that I'd get stuck down there.
Never to come "home".
I love Saint G.
So does H Money.
Hence the reason we'll be heading South
ASAP.
let me know
if you are planning on coming as well

BTW.
by the way.
bye thuh weigh.

This boy will be home in 9 days.
Yes you read correctly.
We are down to single digits here people!
Be excited.
I am.

Obsessed much?

No not with blogging though that could be true too ;)
Day 5: A Photo of an Animal You'd Like To Keep as a Pet

I don't care if you like giraffes or not, but how could you say no to this?!
My heart melts everytime I look at this picture!

Day 4: A Picture of Somewhere You've Been

Chicago, IL.
This was one of my favorite places that we went to when we went on my Senior Trip. The people of Chicago love their city. They take such pride in it and it shows! Such a clean place when you compare it to New York. This picture was taken in 2009.

Today is a Golden Birthday

Happy Happy Birthday

Elder Bird!!

Dear You,
Happy 21st Birthday!
I hope you are having a wonderful birthday this year.
Because you only get a golden birthday once in your life!
You're no longer a child anymore.
Scary!
Keep working hard out on your mission!
You're an amazing boy Andrew Charles.
I love you.
Love always,
Me
ps. I miss you lots!

Happiness

Day 2: The Meaning Behind Your Blog Title

"happiness is courage. Be Courageous."

I love quotes. I spend a good 30 minutes on http://www.quotegarden.com/ before I go to bed every night.
I found this quote one night as I was reading and I fell in love with it. Happiness is something that I long to have but have a hard time accomplishing. I always look around at people who are happy and realize that they are strong, courageous, brave people. They love life and the things in it. I love this quote because it has helped me to remember to be happy. It is a good reminder for everyone.

Love,
BM

eyes change color depending on my mood,

feels insecure wearing anything other than black and white,

terrified of Santa Claus,

Civil Rights Day

Before I begin, I would like to say, I love Martin Luther King Jr.
He is a great man that did a lot for the Civil Rights Movement.
But people....
calling it Martin Luther King Jr. Day is like calling Presidents Day "Abraham Lincoln Day".
That's not really fair to George Washington or any other president for that matter.
So why do we think it's fair to call this day "Martin Luther King Jr. Day" when there were so many others that played a big part in bringing segregation of skin color to an end.

For example,
My personal favorite

Rosa Parks
Refused to give up her seat to a white person on the bus.
What gave that man the right to have that seat? Nothing.

Emmett Till
Who thought a white woman was pretty so he whistled at her.
What gave that woman's husband the right to take a 14 year old out of his bed and beat, torture and, shoot him in the head and then push him into the Tallahatchie River? Nothing.

These are just a FEW of the many people that helped end segregation.
Let's remember all those that had a part in this amazing day.

Happy Civil Right's Day!

It's Just What I Do

I do it,
not because i...
 am emo,
am in a gang
or
have dark thoughts.

 I do it because..
I think it's cute.
If you don't think so, then you don't have to do it!

Guittard Milk Chocolate Chips

Last night
consisted of....

2 bags of these...
Lots of these two things together....

Lots of these juicy things....

All while watching this lovely flick that made me cry....

Why you may ask?

Let's just say being a girl has its ups and its downs.

Chemically speaking, chocolate really is the world's perfect food.
-- Michael Levine

Last night Heather went to Wal Mart to get Knight and Day at the Red Box on her way home from work.
She also was going to get me Ice Cream, and *Guittard Milk Chocolate Chips.
*(If you have not had these heavenly delights..well you are really missing out...best chocolate chips to date)
After calling me to say that they didn't have Knight and Day or the chocolate chips, we decided to go to Smith's where we knew for sure that they had the Chocolate Chips.
We got there and bought a few groceries because if you know me you know that I do not go into a grocery store and leave with just one item.
As we are walking out we stopped to get the movie...no Knight and Day.
We crossed the street to Ridley's to see if that weird store had it.
Nope.
We decided to go to one more place to see if they had it.
Walgreens did not.
So we settled on getting The Back-Up Plan with Jennifer Lopez.
Such a cute movie!
Me being the hormonal, emotional person that I am right now...
I cried during a lot of the movie.

Needless to say,
after the pain I was in yesterday,
I feel so much better today!

Thank you Alex O'Loughlin, Guittard, Ice Cream and Clementines.

Love

2 Peas in a Pod

MMmmkay...
This girl right here and I got some fun things up our sleeves this semester.

Can I just say how gorgeous she is? Good. She's GORGEOUS.

Between school and work, we are planning some fun activities for the future.
We don't want to sit around bored anymore.
Especially when both of us have certain someone(s) coming home in April.
We need to take advantage of these next fourth months of...
single-ness.
here's to hoping we're not single after these said someone(s) come home...
*scary*

We've both always said that things happen for a reason.
I personally think that her only taking
...8 credits vs. 18 credits...
happened for a reason!

2011
is going to be a good year
and
will be filled with lots of changes.

Cheers to not stressing about the future and having a good semester!!!
(no alcohol will be consumed...yuck)

Stay tuned for many posts on our adventures.

Love,
B.M.

Wordless Wednesday
I am going to post a picture every wednesday without anything else on the post.
I'll let you interpret each picture how you see it.
Feel free to post a comment on what you think about the picture or what it means to you.
Seeing as this is the first Wordless Wednesday, I thought this explanation was good.

New Week's Resolutions

Definition:
New Week's Resolutions:
During first week of the New Year, most people are enthusiastic about their resolutions. After this week, however, their zeal begins to dwindle, and soon they've forgotten all about their resolution. Thus instead of a New Year's resolution, it's a New Week's resolution, seeing as it only lasts a week.

Real New Years Resolutions for 2011:

Spritual:
1. Read Scriptures in the morning and at night.
2. Say Prayers in the morning and at night.
3. Clean up the language.
4. Pay tithing on time.
5. Go to church every week.
6. Temple Recommend-Go!
7. Do Visiting Teaching every month.

Physical:
8. Get a gym pass/used it.
9. Fast food (the most) once a week.
10. Love myself/Self Confidence

Personal:
11. Shower in the morning.
12. Wash face at night.
13. Brush teeth at night.
14. Eat Breakfast.
15. Make bed.
16. Have a positive attitude.
17. Make time for myself.

Social:
18. Lunch 1/month with:
Treesa, Emily and anyone else who would like to do this too!
19. Attend a ward activity at least once and month.
20. Make time for others.

The ones higlighted in green are the "Morning Five".
See here if you'd like to know what this is/means.

Yesterday, in church it was Fast and Testimony meeting.
The bishop of the other ward that we were combined with, got up and talked about New Years Resolutions and how he doesn't like them very much.
He said how he hates that when someone has a problem they think,
"Oh, I'll just fix it when the New Year comes."
Rather than just fixing it when you have the problem and making it a habit right at that time.
I have always thought this as well.
If we just set goals at the beginning of the year rather than when the problems need to be fixed it'll be just like the "New Week's Resolutions"
So keep in mind, a lot of these goals that I have written down are goals that,
 I have already started
and
want to continue doing,
and/or
to be better at doing them.
